Well maybe things have changed or you got preferential service and food. I have been to many Dim Sum restaurants but first in Bangkok. I really didn’t favor the taste or quality of the different dishes. Much better in Vancouver Canada or San Francisco USA.

I actually tasted Khao soi Chiang Mai when I was staying at the Fueang Fha Palace hotel in Buriram, of all places .
I had it for breakfast and it is one of the spiciest breakfasts I have ever had.
Since then I looked for it in Bangkok and Nong Khai when I was there but no luck.
I’ll have to go to Chiang Mai but I am also learning the recipe so I can cook it at home.

I was staying around here recently and I did really enjoy my bowl of Tom Yum. My favourite place though was actually almost opposite there, a place called Boom Boom. They did a plate of Pad Thai that was amazing. I know that’s probably a pretty mainstream dish to recommending but there was something about this that had me coming back for more, and more… and more! Some days I had it for lunch and again later for dinner!
